Hello, I'm Lisa, a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) at Royal Palm Beach Minds Psychiatric NP. I'm excited to introduce myself and share a glimpse into my professional journey.
I graduated from the State University of New York at Albany in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. After twelve years of working in education as a Ready-To-Learn Coordinator at PBS, a science teacher in the Palm Beach County School District, and a Program Specialist and Curriculum Writer for after school programs, I returned to my roots. I received an Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) from Palm Beach State College in 2013, and a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from the University of South Alabama in 2024. Since 2014, I have dedicated my career as a Registered Nurse to the field of substance use disorders (SUD) and mental health—where my passion and purpose truly align.
Life presents challenges that can negatively impact our mental health and well-being. These obstacles may include balancing family and career, navigating relationships, adapting to life changes, managing addiction, or coping with idiopathic and genetic conditions. Whatever you're facing, I'm here to support you every step of the way. Please call or click on the green button below to schedule an appointment.
Thank you for considering Royal Palm Beach Minds Psychiatric NP for your mental health care. I look forward to meeting you!
My Best,
Lisa Gomes MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC
